• 14th Sept 2022: two draft papers documenting the experiment and results circulated around particpants
• 20th May 2015: Presentation of latest DICE results analysis given at the GABLS4/DICE workshop in Toulouse, 20-22 May 2015
• 17th April 2015: announcement of the location of the submitted DICE datasets
• 13th Jan 2015: email update of DICE plans for 2015, including a joint workshop with GABLS4 in Toulouse 20 to 22 May 2015

• 29th August 2013: update of webpages with more information on the workshop (see timetable below) and details of stage 3 forcing . This includes a correction to the time variable in the LSM screen level forcing (to include zero in all files) and a second set of forcing files at a reference height of 20m. Also a request for LSMs to include surface momentum flux as an output diagnostic.

• 29th May 2013: clarification that the 2m and 10m near-surface diagnostics (T, q, winds) are not required for the uncoupled SCM simulations. In addition, heating tendency from radiation and massflux profiles added to the SCM diagnostics list
• 15th May 2013: correction to the time array in the SCM driver file, dice_driver.nc ("tsec" renamed "time" consistent with the documentation and shifted by 120s to start from zero)
• 3rd May 2013: correction to the time array in the 10 year spin-up file (shifted by 3 hours) and one additional element added - driver file corrected (DICE_LSM_spinup.nc)

    • 10 year spin-up: 3 hourly data (use linear interpolation for higher temporal resolution as required). Note that run should stop at 19UTC on the 23rd Oct 1999, but data is provided for 18UTC and 21UTC, so interpolation will be required at end of run. Number of input data points: 28663 - 28664 (was 28662 - 28663). Reference height = 2m for temperature and humidity, 10m for wind
    • 3 day experiment: 10 minute data, 433 timesteps, reference height = 55m
    • 3 day experiment: 10 minute data, 433 timesteps, reference height = 2m for temperature and humidity, 10m for wind
• Stage 3 forcing details, including driver files
• Details of requested model output for SCM and LSM.
• Document giving more details on the derivation of the atmospheric model forcing .
